Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

RAKS (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to making kindness visible while respecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can manage it.

What we collect

  • Account information: When you sign in with Google or email, we store your Supabase user ID and email address so we can attribute your ripples and hearts to you.
  • Ripple content: The act description, optional story, city, category, and display name you provide when you start a ripple. These are public by design so the kindness can be seen and continued.
  • Engagement data: Which ripples you heart and which chains you continue, so each user can only heart a ripple once.
  • Technical data: Basic browser/session data handled by our hosting and authentication providers for security and reliability.

How we use it

  • Display your ripples in the public feed and on the interactive map.
  • Connect acts into chains so you can see how far your kindness travels.
  • Prevent spam and abuse by tying posts and hearts to authenticated accounts.
  • Improve the app and fix issues.

Deletion and retention

Ripples and hearts are stored for as long as the app is active so chains remain visible. If you want your account or a specific ripple removed, contact us at the email below and we will delete it within 30 days.
